Moonbeam Magic

Bubbly laughter rides a fresh water breeze,
the pleasant union floating on magic moonbeams.

Shimmers ripple in quick-silver dimples
from the hushed touch of the cool dusk breeze,
sparkling where moonlight spills to diamond brilliance
with bewitching moon madness in the moonlit sheen.

My sons wear gilded crowns on moon-lustered faces,
their eager smiles warmed by the moon-kissed mood.

Shimmers ripple in quick-silver dimples
while fingers sink deep in sand to find heat
on a smooth beach cooled by the last summer breeze
as sandstorm dust settles before skipping feet.

Gritty grain garnishes our fast food feast,
my youngest son's kiss, my sweet dessert treat.

Shimmers ripple in quick-silver dimples
while trestle shadows float as the navy waters gleam.
Distant street lights glimmer narrow paths,
dimmed by lanes of lustrous moonbeams.

Water murmurs in the tepid evening breeze,
singing a duet with the train's mournful keen.

Shimmers ripple in quick-silver dimples
while we croon spooky songs to a full moon's preening.
Enchantment drifts down on the dappled stream,
magic moments born on water dancing moonbeams.

Bubbly laughter rides a fresh water breeze,
the pleasant union floating on magic moonbeams.

Love, Jody
